Dallas Lutheran School has contracted with Twelve Oaks Catering to offer our students quality, healthy, and affordable meals on our campus. Twelve Oaks Catering has been serving schools and preschools across the Metroplex for the last 18 years and is committed to the following principles in the execution of the lunch program: Freshness, Nutrition, and Variety. This means as many fresh fruits and vegetables as possible. This means an effort to provide the most nutritious products possible on the lunch menu (whole wheat items, no or low trans fats, lower sugars, and only oven baked products). And this means a menu full of choices, at least three per day, while still providing those foods kids want to eat!
The program will offer two ways to order lunch.
- You may open a debit card account at the school with Twelve Oaks personnel and order lunch on a daily basis. The opening balance should be twenty dollars ($20.00) and can be updated/replenished as needed at the school with a deposit of a check or cash with Twelve Oaks personnel. Debit accounts can also be opened and replenished with your credit card by sending Twelve Oaks Catering a secure e-mail at www.twelveoakscatering.com and giving us your student’s name, credit card number & expiration, and amount you wish to deposit to the account. You will receive a confirmation email showing a credit to your account. Because your school will have an off-line debit system, we will not be able to give you “real-time” balances, but we can relay that balance to you on the following day.
- You may make cash purchases for lunch on a daily basis.
Twelve Oaks Catering will also provide beverages and “healthier” snack items for a la carte sales at the school. In co-operation with the school and in an effort to steer students toward better eating habits, students MUST either purchase a lunch or bring a lunch from home to be able to purchase additional snack or dessert items.
Twelve Oaks Catering is at Dallas Lutheran School on Mondays through Thursdays.
On Fridays, students are welcome to purchase Pizza sold by the junior class for $1.50 a slice.
