N. J. H. S.

The National Junior Honor Society chapter at Dallas Lutheran School, THE LION, promotes academic and leadership excellence among middle school students and high school freshmen. Membership requires eligibility (90% GPA). Eligible students in grades seven, eight, and nine will be invited to apply for membership after the third quarter ends. Students’ applications will be evaluated by the faculty council in five areas: scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Students selected by the faculty council for membership will be inducted in a ceremony in April.
